Sometimes a fun mental exercise for me is to let my imagination run unchecked on the rare occasion that it does, and in this case it's trying to picture how my wolf would have ended up, if he'd found the portal. He ticks so many weird boxes and has set so many strange precedents over the years..
And I adore cutesy silly things, so I'm imagining that he'd make friends with the plants without being converted, somehow. A four-legged wolf belongs in nature and forests after all, and he's an arctic cloud of fluff, affection and happiness. Just a big goof. A darn good boy. Heck.
The silliest thing would be if he goes through the conversion process, but pops out a month later exactly as how he went in, to the confusion of everyone. That sounds like something Dicey would do.
