About age restriction differences in requests

WTH is up with pixiv's censorship policy?
I've seen something like this happened to AstortBT on pixiv (https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/22162758
reported on twitter/x but the post was deleted - https://x.com/astorbt ) He had to delete all his old works and replace them with "lesser violent" images, even though the characters in question are made of goo and are 100% gore free.
The images in question are slime animal-eared human-like characters (more like clay) having their body parts being cut. There were no gore, no organs exposed in the area being cut, but instead is that his skin and his inside are all the same, it is all skin-color. I think what triggered pixiv is the naked clay brown fox boy passing through a grating, and shown his slime dick being split in half.
Really hope pixiv does not take the path that tumblr had venture out into banning NSFW.
