Alain: Peerless Butler
Name: Alain Beaufort Chevalier
Alias: N/A (Nicknamed the Thunder Thighs Butler in certain circles)

Abilities: Alain has training in self-defense and some offense styled martial arts, some degree of chi control and manipulation, expertise in the field of butler and valet work, above average physical condition thanks to his training. But he hides a secret behind that eyepatch in the form of a curse that can overtook his body, turning his appearance monstrous while making him into a raging berserker fueled by purple flames that create and coat his body in a black hardened substance. He is also quite tactical, being able to plan out for nearly every circumstance that may arise.
Weaknesses: Concern for those in his charge, and his curse, are both notable weaknesses that can be exploited if done right.
Personality: Professional, elegant, courteous, yet doggedly determined to live up to the expectations of those he calls Master, Alain has a kind heart he offers up in service of others he deems worthy, but he is capable of letting restraint off the leash if he sees it necessary to act. Whatever it takes to protect his charges.
Background: Another raised in the Guiding Star Orphanage of Coast City, Alain remembers naught about his childhood prior to living at the church, just that he was left there with a scrawled note reading the name he was given. Alongside Etrian Kalistar and Maya Le Fay, among others, he was raised and taught by Sister Marie and Voice Vangelis, and unlike the rest, had remained there up until his adulthood. His entry into butlering came from self-interest in the field, yet his first stint into the field enlightened him into how harsh it can be, for his first client died mere days after hiring the aspiring young man, leaving Alain to continue his service to his widow on the day of their wedding.
Yet his focus remained unwavering, providing the best service he could to her until his contract was formally ended, taking what he had practiced and carrying it on through several other Masters until pursuit of the truth behind his previous one's disappearance brought him to reunite with an old childhood friend in Etrian, the detective working on solving the same case Alain was investigating. They moved forward together, solving the matter of the disappearance, yet Alain was left without a Master once more by unfortunate circumstances. It was then Etrian made the decision to hire the wolf into his services, totalling to three butlers in the dragon's employ, their relationship growing stronger over the course of his service, which continues to date...
