Apparently something of a stillborn series from Mirage Comics in 1987; I've just found a copy for a bargain price. Contents:
"Fak–II" (Kevin Eastman, Eric Talbot, Steve Lavigne)
"The Lucky One" (Jim Lawson)
"The Last Time I Saw Tommy" (Joshua Quagmire, Dave Garcia)
"The Horror" (Frank Bella)
"Jonesy" (Bill Fitts)
"The Lesson: A Tale of the Triceraton Marines" (Peter Laird, Ryan Brown, Lavigne)
"The Bells" (Lavigne)
"Turtle Troop" (Mark Bodé)
"Monuments" (a Gizmo/Fluffy Story; Michael Dooney)
"Mekong Delta Blues"
rabbi-tom
"Slaughter Dogs" (Talbot)
"Iron Angel" (
rabbi-tom, Phil Morrissey)

Oh, I have a copy. I picked it up at a flea market several years ago. It's in sorry shape and the bottom of the back cover is damaged. It does have part of the sig that looks like VON something (not Vaughn Bodē). The little critters seem to be turtles and not lizards.
More or less Mirage's precursor to a little known property of Mirage Studios called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". The Triceratons predated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the 'tons even featured in the original TMNT comic. Their story in the original TMNT comic would be more or less adapted into 2k3's Triceraton arc, yet despite 2k3's horrible quippiness that'd make Joss Whedon look like Cormac McCarthy by comparison, the Triceraton arc in 2k3 actually resolves pretty cleanly in the 3rd season.
I'm a massive Triceraton fan and wished they got their own spinoff story but their vintage look in Grunts, their look in the original TMNT comic, and their 2k3 appearances are GOATed. Their IDW run designs look great, too.
