Todd Baker, posing as his brother Alex followed Katili into the kitchen. Seeing Darlene tied up and gagged with an apple in her mouth. Katili had shaved the fur off of the Doberman and had her resting in a large crockpot with onions, potatoes as well as several spices.
Katili: "Like I said darling, I was about to turn the heat on when you got here." She walked over and turned the heat up, setting it to 250°F. "So, what would you like to do my darling doggy?"
Darlene wiggled and groaned through her gag, Todd's blood boiling with anger at this. He knew he couldn't fight a lion and rescue Darlene at the same time. He had to outsmart her. Knowing it takes a little while for a crockpot to heat up adequately he decided on a way to take care of everything.
Todd or as far as Katili knew, Alex said: "While we wait for this broad to cook, how's about we get a little frisky in the bedroom?"
Katili: "Mmm, dinner and a good time? Sounds marvelous darling."
Todd: "Say, think we could use some handcuffs this time?"
Katili: "Mmm, just what I was thinking dear..." As the two of them walked off to the bedroom, Darlene was silently praying for any chance out of here, or at least a quick death in the pot...


'Alex': "I was thinking, how's about we hand cuff you this time? Been studying with those big dames on how to really drive a woman wild. Whadda ya say?"
Katili: "Hmm, I suppose just this once couldn't hurt. But must you play with other people's food? Then again I suppose it would be better if they were fat and happy before we snuff them out."
She chuckled like a child playing with other's lives like they were toys.
'Alex': "Lay down honey, got something extra special planned for ya." As he then cuffed her to one bed post.
Katili: "Oh? Some new technique? You always have such lovely surprises..." As he then cuffed her other hand.
'Alex': "You could say that.. Let me get the remote and get some mood music going." Rather than anything sultry he found the local Christian station and put it on the wall mounted TV.
Katili: "A-alex? What are you doing? I thought you were an atheist."
Todd dropped the Alex act and said: "I hope it's not too late for your soul Katili." As he turned and ran out the door to rescue Darlene from the pot.
Katili: "TODD BAKER!!!"


He pulled the plug out of the wall and got her out, removing her gag and untying her.
Todd: "Want to get rinsed off here, or at home Darlene? Katili is taken care of for now."
Darlene: "T-todd? Even with as mean as I've been to you, you still came to save me."
He smiled.
Todd: "Of course I came, couldn't let anything bad happen to you of all people."
She then quickly rinsed the broth off of herself in the shower before the doggy duo dashed out the door to Todd's car.
It was a quiet ride back to town, he stopped in front of Stephanie's house and looked at Darlene.
Darlene: "Danke Todd, ich weiß nicht, wie ich dir dafür danken soll, dass du mich da rausgeholt hast."
Todd: "Don't worry about it Darlene. Better get inside, Steph must be worried sick about you."
He chuckled: "I would walk you to the door but you said if I came on the property you'd call the cops."
Darlene: "Yeah, I uh I better get in before I catch cold." She patted his head before running to the door.
He waited until she got inside, and into Stephanie's arms before driving home alone.



After getting into bed he remembered what Katili had said: "Those bears would be worth a fortune on the black market." He sat up and said: "Anya, Vera! He's going to kill them!" He sprang out of bed and ran to his car to confront his reprobate brother.
Little did he know that Alex was already being taken care of....
