Drawing Dinosaurs is fun.
I tend to a somewhat strict color association with my dinosaurs, so they'll look similar - or, at least, somewhat like the same species. But this time, I decided to buck my own conventions and instead of the usual redish/purplish color scheme (the ketchup/grape jelly combo), I decided to go this pastel nightmare, lol.
I don't know why I keep making my dinosaurs technicolor. I guess to add onto the fantastical. I mean, T-Rexes apparently had feathers and I don't find that fun to include since the LAST TIME I tried, some rando on dA wanted to play paleontologist and correct me.
So might as well just go full bonkers. Draw them as inaccurate dragons and make them cotton candy colored.
I like to think those stripes on her back are battle scars. I didn't originally intend for a gender, but a kid saw me coloring her and called her a, well, her. I've been calling her Goreheart personally, lol.
