Where the young Army Infantryman is with the Swamp mare, watching TV, when that glorious bit of news comes out of Pakistan.

Hopefully he won't be going back to Afghanistan in the long run.

This is absolutely beautiful, Rabbi! There's so much I love in this. The old-fashoned tube TV on top of a steamer trunk, the satellite TV receiver-- obviously the only way to get TV out in the swamp, the soldier's casual outfit replacing his military clothes from the previous pic... but most of all, you really went to town on the swamp mare. She's beautiful. The crest in her neck, the flow of her mane, that strong draft mare build-- I can tell you enjoyed drawing her.

Thanks for putting so much into this Rabbi, this is just great. Great news, AND great art!

Glad you enjoy it...I was thinking since she's in a swamp, yes, Satellite is a must...especially since tornado sirens aren't likely in her area. Plus, wanted to have practicality in her trailer, so a steamer trunk doubles as a TV table.

Actually working on another idea now of just her.
