Publisher and I weren't exactly sure what to do for the Fatality series' trilogy compilation/compendium. I basically did a bunch of them with different themes, handed them over to the publisher, and told them to "Pick one." Evidently, of the 7 I gave them, this was the one they selected.
This one was more of the classic and "pretty" sci-fi one while also covering the obvious disaster/dystopia element. Photoshop process is mostly my usual space one, though it is the first time I've done a full planet crack/split. And it's not even that difficult to do in the end. Possibly the longest part was figuring out the spacing of things and placement, since I wanted movement, I needed the Earth, Sun, Moon, and a comet in it, and also be mindful of title and spacing. Of the 7, this one works the most for a traditional book cover, and will look great on a hardcover.
