FÁÈLBORN: Raccheruchhe, The Restorer (2016)
11x14 technical pen / pen and ink on Strathmore Windpower vellum bristol paper, 2016.
Raccheruchhe (RAW'keh rook), The Restorer, is tasked with reviving the souls of those deceased—at the cost of perpetual decay and pain. For every soul she heals, more of her body rots. Her temper is as you could imagine.
Her skull was inspired by Smilodon and Thylacosmilus! <3 I'd love to give her wings more real estate in future illustrations. Poor gal has already been through enough!
