Let's go back to where it all began for Arya, and give context about her world, I warn you that it will be extensive and there will be little or no reference to weight gain so this post is more for her lore and also for you to appreciate how she was before gaining so much weight.

In 2067, the earth was going through extreme heat that was still increasing due to global warming after several decades of non-stop polluting the atmosphere, luckily a solution was created to survive on this now arid planet.
With urgent funding for scientists either by giving them the best air-conditioned homes with supplies so that they would give an end or a hope to the population, they were in a race against time before they were consumed by extreme weather or ultraviolet rays.
Seeing that there was no turning back to recover the atmosphere, or at least until that moment, the "purple sky" project was carried out, which consisted of creating giant panels that did not allow UV rays to enter, it was decided to make large cubes the size of a medium-sized city to keep its citizens safe, it was not easy to create them since it cost the lives of several who had the courage to expose themselves to the harsh climate, without them this was a great advance and the guarantee of a survival not entirely defined but to gain enough time to create some alternative to recover the Earth or abandon it.

Several countries copied this same project and did the same by enclosing the cities or most of them in these "cubes".
Of course, not everything was going to be rosy, a large part of the inhabitants could not access these due to the overpopulation they already had trying to keep the majority safe, although they were mostly citizens with the best positions to continue advancing with scientific advances or improve their survival, on the other hand there were those who had wealth, they were few but they were the ones who put up the capital so that the advances and finally they were the ones who provided services to the community, whether restaurants, electricity, water, etc...
Now water was a very valuable resource, so they opted for different alternatives such as thick solutions simulating water, luckily they found several deposits of it under the surface so it was not completely lost.

The population with not so good jobs or with low contribution to society was expelled from the "cubes", they had no choice but to go to the hot deserts with the artificial hope that the authorities told them that they could go to another nearby "cube" to have the opportunity of a home, this was almost impossible due to the extreme climate and the long distance, in addition to the fact that the vehicles would be stranded halfway due to overheating in their engines, thus began the discontent along with the resentment of not being accepted and consequently the hatred of the "Cube Dwellers", the exiles formed groups surviving the climate, most died from multiple causes leaving aside the heat it was due to sand storms, diseases, starvation or dehydration, the cold of the nights, among many more, the survivors came up with the idea of ​​living under the surface or in caves to avoid what has already been mentioned, thus the faction of the "Drillers" was formed, and with it a near rebellion...

Now finding ourselves in the year 2083, the population in the cubes increased, improving their quality of life with the advances they achieved by adapting to their new life within these cubes, there were occasionally dissatisfied citizens, but it was not so much of a problem after all, although there was a threat looming, The Drillers.

In one night without warning, an invasion of this faction against several cubes began, they dug tunnels with drills made with reused parts from the deserts, they opened the cube blockages so that others could enter, either through the surface or through the facilities where they collected water underground.
The Drillers began to destroy as much as they could because the Cube People's weapons were outmatched. As a final blow, they blew up several energy-producing systems, causing large explosions throughout the city as a distraction while they stole technology and supplies for their people.
These explosions caused the collapse of buildings in a sector of the town, there was a young Arya with her family dedicated to the development of renewable and sustainable energy, while Arya was a privileged student with good grades almost ready to enter university, but all that ended on June 4, 2083.

Arya being so young lost her parents in that attack, she would also have lost her life if it were not for Trinity, a dragon who was part of the local security at that time, after the attack she managed to get the Drillers to flee and was part of the rescuers in search of survivors from the rubble, there she found a seriously injured Arya, she sent her to the nearest hospital while she continued to take charge of rescuing more survivors.
It was a miracle that Arya was still alive because of how she got to the hospital. It took her a year and two months to react after the coma, in addition to the various surgeries they did to her giving her artificial prostheses. On that same day that she woke up, Trinity was notified, who had financed Arya's medical help along with another companion and friend of hers. She went to Arya a few hours after being notified and spoke to Arya. Apparently, she had been orphaned by what happened a year ago, so Trinity offered her support, and also offered her a proposal which Arya did not hesitate to accept.

Trinity offered her to help her fight the criminality that had been unleashed since that day with the discontent of several citizens and the lack of supplies. Robberies became frequent and they had an enemy faction. Arya accepted, but first she had to undergo improvements to her body so that she could fight against any threat, and they would be high-tech prostheses.

So after several years of improvements to her body which gradually turned her body more artificial than organic, in addition to the hard training that Trinity gave her, she became a bounty hunter.
