Bio: Jillian Ortega was born in a small village of primates at what is now known colloquially as a "zoo". Basically, private communities where a single species or a few related species (for example, a village of zebras, or a village of canines. Very few limitations!) own and customize a large plot of land to their habitat specifications. They can be wealthy, they can be poor, they can be anywhere in between. Other communities are placed close together to the first village, all interconnected into a larger town. Essentially looking like our zoos, but nobody's on display. Jillian is from one of these communities, that was frought with crime and carnivorous murders. Jill and her best friend Cassie were both adopted by a capuchin man who loved them like his own daughters, though he was ultimately killed and devoured by an unknown predator. This resulted in Jill having a deep-seated fear of carnivores, not even fully trusting herself due to her omnivorous nature. However, this hasn't stopped her from competing in the Olympics, becoming a successful professional athlete, and winning multiple trophies and medals over the 14 years she's competed.
