For some reason, after doing an art trade with a friend of mine involving Gex, I felt like drawing the character since he was a sort of simple and cool character to draw design wise. Here's a redraw of the cover from the first Gex game, which was a 2D platformer, while the later titles are 3D (the GBC versions are 2D though). I've never actually played any of the Gex games before, but I still really want to try it out one day, hopefully during Labor Day weekend or some other time soon. Perhaps I might draw more of this underrated video game character too, as well as Croc which was another underrated game character that had a series of games.
