Looks like Jack decided not to go back to Goldenrod to help with the Rebuild right away after he came to visit his wife Ammi. Its fine though, Flair has done the same with His Husband Jules time and again lol. Fun fact Jack is the one who gave her the everstone necklace there. He finds her perfect just the way she is and didn't want the experiments she does to accidentally make her touch a thunderstone and evolve. Also Both of them are in their home at their natral Macro sizes, Jack at 350ft tall and Ammi at 205ft tall

Jack and Ammi really belong together, they actually have been friends since they were a Pichu/Riolu respectively. They have even separated countless times. But only for a few decades at most before they go right back to each other. The only reason they would split wound be to try other partners but they would realize all the time for the most part they were the only other person for the other. Although sevral times there were both Mons did both enjoy, one of which was Clover, Shane's Grandma
Actually on Terramon its not uncommon, egg groups as we know them don't exist there, so hybrids like Jack's brother Nova and Sisters Sally and Nicole are even more common then Shiny Pokemon. These 2 are have known each other practically their entire lives (which they are billions of years old) so it no suprise that even after dozens of other partners they stayed as happy together as ever. They have even had hundreds of kids in their life
