Buck Brothers: Antlerian Flag Day (8/15/24)
Today in the Vexillological Corner...
The 15th of August is Flag Day for Antleria. 🌟
The Flag was adopted on August 15th, 2022. The flag's design was based off of LesBuck's Battle Coat that he wore during the Brother Way Around.
The flag's colors are Navy Blue, Orange, and White. The blue symbolized the dignity of all the characters, the orange symbolized the trustworthiness of the stop motion animators, and white symbolized the paper that each character was illustrated on. The orange band represents shelter and an arrow showing that the Buck Brothers keep moving forward, the small five-pointed star in the upper corner symbolized the distant dream, and the large five-pointed star represents the rebellious strike from digital tyranny.
A young bald eagle named Sheldon, otherwise known as Eaguh Seventy-Seven, overhears the news about the Buck Brothers Tenth Year of Independence and thinks of a way to celebrate the milestone. Sheldon tries to look at many things to make the new Flag. It took him the majority of that summer to think of symbols, colors, and elements to be placed on.
One day, on August 14th, Sheldon finds LesBuck's old coat and he takes it all the way to the Eagle Editorial to make the flag. It took him all night for him to finish it. Finally, he gives the flag to LesBuck and tells him to adopt the new flag. So then on August 15th, 2022, the Buck Brothers finally obtained a flag to call their own, all thanks to Sheldon. Now the flag is seen flying over Fort Antlerhorn. After its first flight, the flag was seen by many people from different countries. The Flag has gotten some nicknames like "Bold Five-Point", "The Captain's Colors", "The Blue, Orange, and White", and "The Five-Pointed Star".
Hopefully, someone would make a high quality flag of our flag, until then, we wait.
"Oh, Five-Pointed Star, you have always waved for me, and in the morning I hoist you up, and there you are, a bold Antlerian flag twinkling in all its five-pointed glory."
