And the second comic page. I think it's funny that Banes hates fishing here and I made him fishing in the story. Whoops. I was highly influenced by Calvin and Hobbes with the story humor of these if it isn't noticeable.

Hey, fishing is a fun pass-time... Though I guess a working ornithopter might be more fun.

I thought this style looked a little like Calvin and Hobbes. I think you did a great job with it.

Ornithopters are definitely more fun. And mini speed boats. And really whatever Els invents that Banes inevitably crashes.

Glad you do. If I recall, trying to emulate those vibes is exactly why I ended up stopping after two strips. I just wasn’t talented or clever enough to pull it off.
