I'm sure you can't have failed to notice how hot it's been this summer. At least, throughout most of the country - I live in a relatively cool basement flat with east-facing windows, so I've been fortunate enough to escape the worst of it (in stark contrast to my last place, where my bedroom was on the west-side, and in direct view of the sun).
Things are just as bad onboard the Stellar Typhoon at the moment, thanks to the ship's famously temperamental heating system adding a decidedly tropical edge to the shipboard climate. As this happens frustratingly often, the crew have all developed their own ways of dealing with it, but not all of them meet with approval from their peers...
