As for story. I have a rough idea but I usually work best when just running with it and riding the wave until the end. Planning be damned that's what editing is for. So here we go

Ava knew she shouldn't be out here. She knew the trouble she could cause if a human saw her. But she couldn't really sit still. Even if she was seen. All it would amount to is an"unknown cosplayer" or a "monster video" that some more realist humans would always believe is a hoax. And worst case scenario Camilla or Selene could always fix it. She climbed one of the buildings slowly. She might not be a martial artist. But monstrous strength had to come in handy for something she thought to herself. Finally getting on top of the roof. Sitting on the edge and looking up at the stars.

"Light pollution's a bitch"

She whispered to noone in particular. Tucked off how despite the hundreds of trees. The view was still worse than the forest. But that wasn't why she came out here. She looked down at passing cars. The humans driving by one by one. Sighing softly. Why is it that they were the ones who took over and us magical ones had to hide. She thought. Somewhat bitter about her lot in life. But. In the end she couldn't blame humans. Not as a whole anyway. The churches, the emperors, the nobles who felt their power threatened. It was their fault this situation happened. But what could she possibly do. Sighing in disapproval as she got up. Maybe someday. Someday humans would be in a position where they could finally accept the magical world once more. But until then. All she could do is sigh as she jumped off the roof. Landing in the back alley. Not even scraped. And climbing over a fence back into the forest to make her way home.

I thought recently about a concept for a roguelike video game with my characters. One where through the actions of a lich. The magical world would encroach upon the human world. Forcing them to acknowledge each other once more. I think there's some potential for it. But I don't have the resources or talent to make a video game. Still. That idea partially inspired this. Who knows. Maybe someday I'll become friends with a game designer. But either way. I hope you all enjoyed
