While SEGA may not approve of full on kissing or explicit heart bubbling, I can see IDW getting crafty with heavy implication. Having the mask block their lips. The Yuri On Ice method (#Justice4IceAdolescence).
I mean, they did sneak the colors of the Lesbian Pride Flag for the pair. They're crafty, they are.
