The long-awaited return of the Claw Pendant series! Not to mention, my first multi-page sequence in ages! (The previous one that I can remember, Teddy Love also being one involving turning into a bear of some kind. I guess bears make for much time-consuming sequences for me, I guess. lol)
Ursa (given her namesake) has always had a lifelong love for bears. Growing up in a cabin near the woods, she'd always spot the nearby bears crawling up near her parent's cabin. And despite what her parents usually said, the bears that would visit were more curious and sometimes, pretty friendly. Yes, they would become violent and deadly when instigated, but only when they became defensive. Needless to say, Ursa would always find a piece of cod or salmon to give the bears whenever they stopped over in her backyard, and they would head back into their den in the woods, anyway.
So, while at her college one day, Ursa would hear about the mysterious Claw Pendant that has been spreading word around a lot. While many were strongly against the idea of turning into a predatory beast that could attack everyone, others (like Ursa) were fascinated and did at least want to give it a try. And obviously, being the bear-obsessed young adult that she was, she NEEDED to give it a shot to become her favorite animal.
So, after managing to snatch one up, she'd go back to her family's cabin for the weekend and give the pendant a shot. But, still putting the concerns people had in mind, she wanted to see if she could stop at a middle point where she'd be a somewhat huge and fuzzy bear creature, but still retain her human mind. Deciding to give it a shot, she eagerly put the necklace on and just like that, her changes started progressing. She felt an amazingly eager feeling throughout her body as it started to expand in size. Her muscles and thickness growing, her weight gaining more and more mass each minute, her ears starting to grow and become fuzzier, her short brown hair falling out and being replaced by thick fur throughout her body, and even her face starting to gain a more beastly feel with her nose reshaping and her teeth becoming monstrous by the minute.
As the changes progressed further and further, a small fuzzy tail started to sprout from her behind. Her clothes started to tighten and (in her socks' case) even start to rip due to her fingers and toes growing thick black claws. And from her hands and feet, they started to become MASSIVE paws to the point where she could smash a hole in the wall with ease. The fur continued to cover more and more of her body, while her nose started to gain a stronger sense of smell she never had before, with her mouth's lips starting to blacken.
By the time her changes finished, she ripped her violet shorts and pink socks managed to rip on their own. Her whole body was covered in a thick fur coat that felt almost bulletproof. Her hands and feet have become so much like paws that she'd have to start knocking down trees just to get food with help from her size. And her face had changed from a small pretty one to a grizzly, monstrous one. But Ursa, didn't mind a bit. Just looking at herself in the mirror just made her feel all giddy inside. Her pink, unbuttoned shirt being the only remaining article of clothing on her body, but she never minded a new look when it came to changes like this.
All of a sudden, a certain scent reached her nose...it smelled DELICIOUS! Following her new ursidae nose, she stepped outside to realize the scent was luring her into the woods. And she thought to herself how much of a perfect time it would be give her new form a shot. And so, she'd spend the rest of her weekend just living life as a bear, and nothing could've been better.
Okay, writing this, I intended the sequence to go a little further, but I think this would be a perfect place to stop the story. And so, I've decided to make the next two pages an alternate ending in a way, so if you want to check those next two pages out, you can do so right here!
