I saw Twisters and absolutely LOVED it!
Twister was a movie a grew up with and loved as a kid, even now when I stand in a field watching the sky turn grey I can hear 'Respect the Wind' playing in my head.
As a sequel it was absolutely perfect and would definitely go see it again.

Gonna be watching it on Tuesday! Hopefully the score of the film reminds me of the original soundtrack to the 96' film where you felt like you were in Oklahoma!
(I also really hope to see some diecast models released since the film is doing really well from what I've heard / seen!)
(I will say, the AMC popcorn bucket should have been made to look like Dorothy... That would have been perfect since the popcorn could represent the sensors!)
Edit: Also, that is one perfect shirt. One of my other favorite quotes would have to be, "It's the wonder of nature baby!" (Cut back to "Humans Being" playing in the background.)

I've seen it twice already and on Sunday I'm going to see it in 4DX!
The score was there, but I think the score has it's moments, though doesn't compare to the original. (Though I feel that's more to my nostalgic love for the first one, that music took me places, man.) The soundtrack came in hard though, definitely a collection of the best County Rock in a while and to me that what put me back in Oklahoma.
And thank you, I love the shirt too. Dusty was one of the greatest parts of the first one and there is one very brief mention of 'the suck zone' in Twisters.
(Also, Humans Being was the first song I blasted when I drove off-road!)

After seeing the movie, I do have to say it was worth it! I agree with you on the soundtrack as well. It really did feel like they had taken the 96' soundtrack, and gave it a modern twist!
...
(Cue laugh track)
But I do have to say, nothing could ever beat that original score... I just feel like the chorus and the violin (I think that's what was used) really help add to that, "These things are far beyond our wildest nightmares." (Or something like that, I had something better in mind, but almost instantly forgot about it :P...)
I will say, I'm kinda sad that in the opening segment, we didn't get to hear that iconic Dorothy siren... It would have been really nice to hear after almost 30 years!
But adding onto that opening segment, I'm still so happy that the 4th Gen 4Runner got some attention! (Namely because I myself own a 03' 4Runner Limited!) And at the same time, it reminds me of what happened with the Honcho in the 96' film.
Also, that opening actually surprised the life outta me. I watched all the trailers, and I did NOT expect what I saw.
