I finally watched the second Inside Out, so I wanna make more of my own emotions inspired by those as well, with a bonus emotion Calm, as requested by my therapist hah
Anxiety inspired on one of those wobble toys, they appeared much earlier than expected, they sleep late and wake up early to always keep an eye on the controls (tho anger still manages to wake up earlier, and fear stay up later). Despite being slow moving and a little clumsy their long clawed arms help them to cling to the controls even when other emotions try to pull them away. They are always very alert and obsessed with watching all the other emotions closely so make sure no one messes up the controls, sometimes influencing their inputs.
Embarrassment is inspired on a mushroom, they also have been around for a while, they are very curious and like to hang out with the others but want to run away and hide at any little inconvenience. They also have a hobby of collecting memories in their bed like eggs in a nest, from time to time they will watch them over and over again.
Nostalgia is, obviously, inspired on (specific) videogames, since my Joy tends to be more low-energy nostalgia is the one that tries to keep everyone's morals up by playing songs on their speakers and playing fun memories on their screen, though in a very fuzzy and pixelated way. Sometimes they wake up with a specific memory playing on their screen and become obsessed with finding the original one again to remember it more clearly.
Envy is inspired on an alien (flatwoods monster) and a broken heart, they are quiet, handsy, and all around very awkward and weird, the other emotions feel very uncomfortable around them, so they try to get rid of them often, but they always seem to just pop back up out of nowhere spooking the others. when sentiments of abandonment pop up their little tentacles can often be found stealthily messing with the controls
"Ennui" is inspired on a puzzle piece, they are very tiny and will often ride on top of other emotions in order to not have to move around by themselves, but that can also cause them to influence the emotion's input by accident. They are always complaining about missing something and wanting something they don't know, nostalgia will often try to help them out with all their tools but they never manage to.
Calm is inspired on a thick and soft blanket, they love to hug and comfort everyone, very loving and warm at all times, but they are also huge and clumsy so anxiety desperately tries to keep them as far away from the controls as possible so they dont mess anything up, and they will often just accept it.
