Cate Sterling is an operative of the British Agency, same as Ricky Jones. The two fell in love on duty and had two children, those being Curtis and Waylon.
Cate lost her right forearm in an accident during a mission and had a hook prosthetic fitted. That did not stop her a bit however, she was still just as capable as a field operative despite her missing limb. Her hook even helped rip off faces!
Her signature weapon is a metal umbrella that can act as a sword or a bulletproof shield. She was also a demolitions expert.

Nobody knows where she is right now or if she's still alive. Cate went MIA after an operation went muddy and left Ricky alone with the kids.
