<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>Dr. Eniiyi Adebayo has been fascinated by electronics all her life. In childhood, she tinkered with devices supplied to her by her parents. Today, she conducts research into the application of technology to improve the livelihoods of the world population, and to improve the efficiency of preexisting tech for this purpose. In particular, she works in ways to help neurodiverse people live better lives. She is dedicated to a fault; she is often focused on her job to the point that without an alarm to signal her lunch break, it would be only when she is finished that she would check the clock and see that it is no longer morning.
It is rare, in and out of work, to see Dr. Adebayo not in front of a computer of some sort. Even when resting in bed, she does so while looking up at a computer screen with a holographic keyboard and a trackball. It is even rarer to see her without a tight-fitting undersuit, which she wears under her clothing at all hours of the day. Any concerns about the discomfort this may bring to her, especially with the heavy but loose-fitting clothing she insists on wearing over it, are met with the same answer she gives to anyone who asks why she wears it: because she feels more comfortable that way.
——— The fourth character in the Cyber Purge-inspired Mutagian World series, and the first with a custom palette, was a character that I last drew in 2022 for a trio of portraits. This image gives the character a full body, a bolder presentation than before, and a little more accuracy to the obscure animal she is meant to be. This was a bit tricky to get right, but I'm happy with the result.
