Hey everyone! Today is my birthday~ 🎉🎊

It's my first birthday away from my family and friends. My first birthday after I've completely moved away from my home country and there's no way back.

I haven't been able to make new friends yet, it's always been really hard for me and now it's even harder because the cultural and language barriers don't help.

This is also the most difficult birthday financially. I don't have a steady income and won't have a work permit for at least another 2.5 years, so I'm stuck with commissions as my main income. And as you all know, selling art these days is really, really hard.

I can barely make enough to pay for our monthly groceries/bills, and it's only getting harder.

But enough venting! I'm very grateful to everyone who has supported me over the years. I am grateful to my customers, to my online friends. YOU make it possible for me to live by creating art, and that's something I couldn't even dream of a few years ago.
