It's been a hot minute. I left off with this ongoing project in 2018, and...well, I decided that it's time I get back to it and work towards giving this tribute series the proper conclusion it deserves.

This is still one of my all-time favorite Godzilla toys. I even looked back on the bio, and it's fascinating that the ship attached to MG's back is the Toryu, not the Garuda. And with the design, I like the implication that MG was severely damaged and rebuilt into this upgraded form, and the Garuda was beyond repair, so Toryu was built to take its place.
