So, for all of you who know that I am a gamer and a big time nerd for apocalyptic settings in films and video games....you'll know that since January of this year I've been playing Fallout 4, modded with the Playable Dino Races Mod and Vore mod, among MANY other mods to make the game immersive and fun, and this guy right here is the character I had made for that playthrough. I initially tried to write a backstory for him that ended up being a full on story that contains 3 other characters that he considers his family from the Commonwealth Wasteland in Massachusetts, which I did translate the video game locations to as close of a real-life counter part as I could for him and the other 3 characters, I do hope you love them! ^^ Because I sure do!

Description: Jaxson was born in 2025 in Boston, Massachusetts, growing up in a Military family. He was fond of being like his father, applying for the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 14, and was shocked when they accepted him due to his strength at such a young age. Despite being accepted into the Marine Corps at the age of 14, Jaxson didn’t see any action until he was 20 with plenty of training, fighting in Turkey against Israeli invaders, and earned a promotion in rank when he saved his Sergeant from a grenade, throwing him and his Sergeant behind one of their own vehicles just in time, avoiding the shrapnel. He continued to rise the ranks, learning some of the different roles in the Marines and how to properly operate any machinery those roles use, not failing to take mental notes to remember everything.

In 2054, He took a class after having to step in on the field when his squadron’s field medic was injured, learning the ropes of being a Field Medic to help his comrades. He continued to train and work with his comrades to be the best Marine he could, rising to the rank of Major in 2064. After rising to Major, Jaxson didn’t see as much combat, instead planning out his squadron’s moves on the battlefield, although that didn’t stop him from joining them and fighting alongside them. His service was cut short when his crew was targeted in an artillery strike out in Austria, the shockwave shattering most of his bones and requiring surgery. The shattered bones were replaced with Adamantium-Nitinol alloy to allow him a tougher skeleton and faster recovery, as well as having a kidney and his liver replaced. After dealing with the recovery, he decided he had done enough service in his 32 years, and retired, moving to Winthrop where he met his to-be wife, spending his time with her and the baby daughter they had.

Their life in Winthrop was cut short in 2077, however, when China started dropping nuclear bombs, causing Jaxson and his family to make a run for Vault 120, a Vault placed underwater, where they were sent down the elevator with everyone else who had signed up, watching as their state was nuked. Once inside the Vault, everyone was put into cryo pods and frozen for 210 years, Jaxson’s pod unthawing him and making him bear witness as raiders stole his daughter and killed his wife, freezing him again until he was released after 55 more years. Jaxson said his goodbyes to his wife before grabbing some supplies from the kitchen and guards, leaving the Vault, and heading to the snow-covered Wasteland up top. There, he met and ate a freezing anthro Ceratosaurus named Bastian, keeping the younger male warm inside him until they found winter attire. The two traveled together for months until meeting a friendly Deathclaw who was injured named Destra and helped him out. Destra repaid them by giving them a ride to where they were headed, getting into a Storage Bunker that was Quantum Locked back before The Great War, where they met a Militiasaur named Borana.

Together, Jaxson stayed with the group of friends he had made, eating anything that got in their way and fighting things that were from another world. He didn’t leave the group, staying with them like family for 8 years until they found a place called The Institute. The staff were found dead as they found a portal back in time to 2024, and the group discussed what to do before heading through for a potentially better life, exiting the portal to be in front of a Mansion where they’re greeted by an anthro Spinosaurus named Douglas guarding the gates.
