So I tried 3d modeling again and eventually found a free sculpting program: http://www.sculptris.com/
It's pretty fun to use, it's kinde like sketching in 3d or something, it's really easy.
- 1 Day of playing around with sculptris.
- 2 Days to make the model.
- 4 Days to find out how to make holes in a mesh or at least to
make it look like a mesh has holes in Blender.

Unfortunately Blender doesn't like the large amount of faces in this mesh and even with just 5% of it it still goes bad and at that point most details on the head are gone. Another thing is that sculptris uses triangles which are bad for animating stuff.
There's however something nice coming up. A sculptris add-on is being made for Blender which as far as I can tell uses quads: http://farsthary.wordpress.com/2010.....on-in-blender/
