Arthur is a dragon that prefers to live as a human.
As a dragon, he was known as Aurvandil, the Errant Star, given that title for the way he lit up the night with blazing fire magic. For centuries, they were a scourge in the northern mountains and responsible for the lives of many knights. Guilt, regret and more personal loss led to self-isolation. In the new era, the mighty dragon masquerades as little more than an ordinary human being, and is content to let their past die within the annals of history.
The truth of Aurvandil is that he is a socially anxious creature that would just like to read some good books, partake in eating bread and maybe having a friend or two.
