it's been 28 years since the first movie was made

Gonna be watching Twisters on Tuesday!
Really hope it lives up to my expectations!
(I really hope the score of the film is reminiscent of the original score where you felt like you were in Oklahoma!)
(I also really hope to see diecast models made for the film and perhaps even some models of the vehicles from the 96' film!)

It's a good movie. I won't spoil it for you until you see it that is.

Just watched the film today and I loved it!
Especially the film score! They did an amazing job on it!

I thought the score was generic. I was hoping they'd use some of Mark Mancina's music. That's one of the main things I have been looking forward to

Yeah, there were moments where I felt like it was missing some of that "beat" that the original film score had.
(Listening to "Twister - Original Score - 9 - The Hunt - Cow" at the moment)
So I can def. agree with you there.
But I do also wish they had brought back the iconic Dorothy siren for that opening scene... Would've been so nice to hear that iconic noise after almost 30 years! (Even though I wasn't around when Twister released, I did watch it first on a 3-movie blu-ray pack that included "The Perfect Storm" and "Poseidon" (2006).)

Yeah. I have it on Blu Ray, DVD and video. But, its just missing a few things that would have made it perfect

So the film score just released! Listening to it on YouTube at the moment, and now I can really hear some of those inspiration moments from the 96' film!
At points, you can hear the classic "chorus" and the "Violin"! Also, I feel like one of my favorites so far has to be, "This Car's Gonna Fly".

I still wish they used the themes from the first film. It would have made it much better than what it was.

Yeah, honestly I feel like the main areas where it needed that would have been during that opening sequence, and then during that finale sequence.
I feel like those two moments really deserved that homage part.

Yeah. And the characters aren't as memorable or stand out like the others. But that's just me
