I wanted to draw something completely different something like a spider or a tick but I ended up drawing some kind of weird lobster thing. I think those creatures won't be the parasites for the Rolok although I like the look.^^

So here's the data of the water predator/parasite Besel

length from head to tail: about 0,9m - 1,3m
( I think that's about 3,5ft - 4ft)

weight: from 10kg to 20kg ( that's about 20 - 40 pounds)

nutrition: carnivorous

The Besel lives in freshwater regions but also can live in saltwater. It mostly feed on smal animal that it catches with its tongue. The Besel burries himself into the ground except for the front antennas and the mouth by using his scissors and its digging feet. If the Besel notice a potential victim it flings its tongue into the body of the victim. After that it spreads the hooked tip of its rasp tongue so the victim can't get away. The victim will be drawn into the mouth of the Besel where it will be captured by the teeth. Then the Besel now will start to spin his rasp tongue back and forth into the victims body and so rip the flesh out bit by bit.
In the open sea you can often find more Besel clinging onto a bigger creature using a small tube in their tongue to extract the blood. The saliva anesthezises the bodyarea around the tongue. The Besel uses the small hook feet on the middle part of its bod to cling onto the host.

Maybe I will upload something else later but that's all for now. I hope you like my 'animal' inventions. I think I'll draw more of them.
