So, I'm going to go on a bit of TANGENT with this piece of artwork if you don't mind. In my younger days, I found myself being completely obsessed with Pokemon Creepypastas, specifically all around red and blue version, all the stuff from Generation One. Let it be the "Buried Alive" story or "White Hand" the stuff of urban legends. You know the "Lavender Town" theme that drove people to insanity. As an adult I guess I still have some nostalgia for it, even if it's more or less a joke for me and wondering how I got scared by this stuff in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the stories and all that, and I still do come back to Generation One for entirely different reasons.

...That reasoning is that the game is an absolute broken mess. This piece of artwork of course being inspired by "Missingno" as well as "Q", and Timothy catching what is pretty much an Eldritch God that far outstrips Arceus, Giratina, and whatever Pokemon wants to call an all-powerful entity nowadays. My friend kind off handedly came up with the title for the image when I went into a long tangent of how much I enjoy Generation one glitches. Listen as scary as Lavender Town is? We need more stories about Cinnabar Island since that place is like the birthplace of Mewtwo and it's where you can catch Missingno by the beach. Not to mention all the lore behind the island. Yeah, Lavender Town is a graveyard, but Cinnabar Island has HISTORY.

So have a really glitched out Charizard as this image took me like... eh, less than a half an hour to draw and doodle, still kind of dealing with art block a bit. It was mostly just a random one-off drawing, and it made me realize I haven't drawn Timothy in a while. He probably, accidentally just destroyed the world he was in, but it'll be fine, probably.

Fun Fact 2: In the background I was originally having a Vaporeon glitching out, but I decided against it- obviously "Q" is just at the front of the party, making them invisible

Fun Fact 3: Timothy was originally going to be in a creepypasta inspired Pokémon setting, before I dropped the idea entirely. He was going to be completely straight faced and hugging many of the horrors that he encountered without any consequences whatsoever. He also, originally had brown hair and eyelashes before I decided I would go with the ongoing joke that some of the most popular JRPG protagonists have blonde hair.
