Over the course of April and May, I've been playing a very cool and atmospheric Swiss folk horror game named Mundaun where you have to travel up a dark and foreboding mountain to discover the truth behind the death of the grandfather of your character, Curdin, and unravel a curse while avoiding monsters who bar your path. :o The style really added to the atmosphere and it had a really intriguing story and setting, and the gameplay is simple but effective. :D It truly is unlike other horror games I've played, and despite the relatively easy difficulty, it doesn't detract from the buildup and genuinely unnerving moments when you're sneaking around enemies and going into the dark settings - it is one that has slipped under the radar, so I strongly suggest checking it out. :D
I wanted to draw some fanart for it, and I felt I HAD to do traditional art to fit the game's vibe :) I haven't done trad art for AGES but I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I drew Curdin, the goat Allegria and the foreboding mountain you travel to throughout the game. :o
I included a link to a screenshot from the game to compare - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GOxLmo-.....9_m3.jpg:large :)

Thank you so much! It's very kind of you to say that 🫂
I did try my hand at traditional art in the past but I found that when I tried using colouring pencils getting consistent colouring was pretty difficult for me and it did end up throwing out my wrist for a while 😫 If I do traditional art like this again I think it would be monochrome but I would certainly like a go at trying it again in the future as this ind was fun to do! 😊
