I always thought "Saria" was pronounced "suh-RYE-uh" (long "i" sound, like in "kite").

It's up for debate. I always pronounced it the same way as you described. However, I did quick research and it seems the fandom is split, mostly favoring Sah-Ree-Uh. I think either is correct :)

Thanks for such an original piece! I have to admit, I'm not usually a fan of the throat vocalizations in music, I think your song does pretty well. Plus I'm a sci-fi nerd so you had me at the spoken words

Thank you! Though I will have to tell you, it's not meant to be actual sci-fi. :P

The alien point of view in the spoken part is to get the listener to disassociate themselves from Humanity in order to perceive its 'animality' with a more objective clarity.

Lol now I probably ruined it for you. XD

No, not at all. I love alternate perspectives on things. The only reason I thought sci fi was the alien for the disassociation. But you did make it really clear that it's a commentary on the human race and comparing it to the beasts of the earth. I love it :)
