Alternate version of X-Men Evolution episode 50 Ghost of a chance in which Danielle Moonstar, a mutant, meets Kitty and quickly becomes part of the X-Men. During training, the mutants see what her power is: she can turn someone's worst nightmare into reality. But only the designated person sees her nightmare; the others see her “normally”. The next day, Danielle disappears and no one but Kitty remembers. Kitty accepts that it was just a dream, but then she receives mysterious calls for help from Danielle.
During one of Danielle's telepathic calls, Kitty experienced one of her most horrifying nightmares, in which she was kidnapped by Bolivar Trask's followers, bound/gagged and her powers neutralized by an electronic inhibitor necklace that rendered her as helpless as a human, turning her into a guinea pig for unorthodox scientific experiments.
