Originally from south Florida, Dolores married her high school sweet heart who was at the time a local football star. Her husband never made it to the big leagues and instead went to open his own church down in the everglades to let folks know about the good word through his own brand of football analogies. He felt he had everything he needed for the sermons except music. Specifically an organ player. With a bit of coaxing he was able to talk her into taking piano lessons so that he had the perfect accompaniment to keep the flock paying attention.
Dolores soon took to the keys like a fish to water. Finding that it wasn’t just something that she was good at but also something that she rather enjoyed to do as well. Not just religious songs but a mix of anything under the sun that she could find sheet music for. After a while she didn’t even need sheet music and could play the hits just fine from memory. All this worked well for the church as she could break into a needed song at the drop of the hat if the faithful were falling asleep or just tickle the ivories a little to help build tension while her husband started to give the good word.
Things were fine for a bit but then her man changed. He started to turn from the ideals of “Love thy neighbor” and started to talk down about others in the community. Dolores pushed back on his sudden turn of demeanor but with him refusing to return to the uplifting words he used to give, she divorced him and headed north. She changed her last name and started to work at clubs and bars as a piano player.
These days there isn’t as much as a need for piano players in establishments. Cheaper for the owner to use a computer to put a two hour list of songs for the customers to drink their troubles to. This meant that Dolores was pretty much out of work. She figured she might be able to get a little cash by teaching piano but one of her friends informed her that the real money isn’t in piano lessons but in adult film.
This brings us to Oasis Studios. Siroc needed someone to be able to play those electrifying keyboard beats to put mood to moments of lust. Not only did he rather enjoy her skills at the keys though he also had a bit of an eye for the now older and once married woman. With a quick audition process, she became part of the studio family.
