On this day in 2018, a new bird character was introduced as Buddey the Chicken. Buddey is a male, white chicken/rooster who made his first appearance during the ninth season.

He has a red comb and wattle, yellow irises, beak, and feet and is seen wearing a red bowtie, which makes him the first character to not wear a collar like Rex and Baby. Buddey is depicted as a four year old with him talking about him being a survivor from becoming a meal and joined the Buck Brothers.

After being applied for characterhood, he has made numerous appearances for the last six years. He is sometimes seen wearing his blue hat which prints his name on top. Now, he is an operative at Fort Antlerhorn and defending Antleria from digital threats, day in, day out.


Today also commemorates Patriot's initial appearance. Patriot is a male bald eagle who was a new character in 2018. Originally, he was a plush toy and just a similar character duplicate of Buddey with a sharp beak and talons. Patriot was deemed to be a holiday character for Memorial Day of that time. Then when Season 11 began in Landstown High School, Patriot becomes accepted as a new character in 2019. In 2021, Patriot's design changed and got a lot taller and became more like an eagle and less like Buddey.


Six years with these two and going strong.
