Maned Wolves are mostly solitaries and omnivorus (Eat meat an fruits).
When the man started to ravage the local nature, Arace the Feral Solitary Maned Wolf prayed to the gods for help.
He was timid, but if he had the power to protect the savannah/cerrado he could do everything he could to protect it of destruction.
So in a full moon night, a entity appeared to Arace, giving him the gift of transformation.
Now he was even taller and stronger, could wreak havoc even to big machines.
He would bite those ignorant creatures that destroy his home without guilt, so they would be turn in feral animals just like Arace was.
After that people started to avoid the place, calling it "cursed", because every time someone goes to "clean" the place to sell it, those vanished without never coming back.
Arace only transform those that are being cruel for nature, or even give people a new life to start with is asked.
