I have a scene in one of my TLK fan stories where some jackals appear, so I was playing with how I thought they would look in the style of the first movie. Eventually I just ended up deciding to do a whole screenshot redraw to test it out.
I had to stick pretty close to my photo reference for the anatomy, since I've only drawn jackals a handful of times and didn't want her to end up looking like a wolf. As a result, I did end up making the pose a little stiffer and less dynamic than I would have liked, but I'm still fairly happy with it. I tried to keep the colors and markings mostly the same, but did simplify a few things and added some small details. The background is just a modified version of the original.

The character art belongs to me, and you are not permitted to steal, trace, copy, reference, or otherwise redistribute it in any way. I also do not want to see this posted on RP sites, Facebook, YouTube, etc. That's still art theft.
