was bored and looking for some art style inspiration, so i went on a sortbydate:ascending binge and tried my hand at recreating freehand some iconic faces from some of my favorite tickle artists. Early in the learning process as I am, I found that more realistic anatomical comic-like styles like alienshade and esteban were relatively more intuitive to replicate by building outwards from a basic skull shape and spending some time fine tuning, while the more toony animation-inspired stylized head shapes of pawfeather and bigbang, whose quick hard sketchy brush strokes add a feeling of exaggeration, emotion, and movement, were much harder to eyeball. Hopefully more to come soon as I continue on this autodidactic journey.
