Small but scrappy, Rox is a young dragon in training to be a royal guardian. He's exceptionally fast on his feet and shows real promise, but doesn't have a grasp on magic. Instead, he attacks with a flurry of fast blows and bites, and uses his breath weapon - a ray of concentrated light.

He's friendly rivals with the prince, Riku, and very close friends with Sora, a fellow dragon his age in the guardian program, and while he is aware of Riku's feelings for his friend, he is somewhat jealous of them.
He's usually found with Xionsias and Axellious, another young guardian to be and an already recruited guardian who oversees some of the students.
