This is the eighth quartet and last normal set of cards in my Pony Tarot Nouveau project, featuring the four seasons on atouts 16 to 19. Angel Bunny in Fluttershy's cottage with a basket of actual Easter eggs represents spring – but I had planned from the beginning to include other Easter eggs: the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch (Rabbit of Caerbannog) appearing quite similar to, but more dignified than, that in the original Monty Python and the Holy Grail, as well as a fork with a Bash shell fork bomb (aka rabbit virus) printed on its handle.
I felt that that was enough Easter eggs for a quartet, and so the remaining three cards have little in the way of their featured characters and corresponding locations: Philomena in front of Somnambula's pyramid for summer, Autumn Blaze running the leaves in the Whitetail Woods in her namesake season and Spindle bringing winter to the Frozen North.
