Cyber and the Last Remnants of the Love-Bot Empire
"Somedays, I still wonder if the entirety of my adventure on that barren wasteland could've gone better. From those I met, from those who suffered, ones stuck in a utopia, and the others locked outside its gates. The time I had is something I don't believe I ever will forget... and that ocean of ooze and metal still haunts the dreamscape that's fitted behind my mask. I am of course talking briefly about my journey through the barren, nameless planet that was on the edge of sector gamma. Rolling deserts, endless junkyards, toxic oceans and a grand Love-Bot utopia that I believe was one of the last of the old remnants of their mighty empire. All ruled over by one of the Pillarheads that was driven to solitary madness. I've tried peaceful solutions again and again, separated from my allies and friends without much hope of outside communication, I knew that planet needed me.
I never did foresee so much destruction that followed in its wake, but a new empire did in fact rise from the ashes of old. So many of the Love-Bot civilians, drone-models, veterans of war, they all arrived at Bayshore as it was viciously hard to compensate such an influx of new life within our walls. Where they would soon be under the care of Doctor Love and even the Warrior of the Pillars as AGNAR refused to lead these people once more. Cyber, however, was a mere resident of the aftermath of such a struggle. For when I entered the Citadel of Love, she was my guide through a mysterious and unknown world. She's a "Servitude" model that was specifically created by Cyber-Tiamat for carrying out various orders within the walls of her castle. These models were treated as servants and had extremely dangerous protective protocols that arm them with tower shields and multiple sharp and bladed weapons. Nowadays, they're usually called "Maid Knights" as Doctor Love made several and massive improvements to the models... None that I really approve of since she decided to give them even MORE vicious and horrific weaponry, but I suppose we can't agree on everything.
Nowadays most Maid Knights can be found patrolling vital structures within the Love-Bot district. There's even a specific squad under the Warrior of the Pillars that deploys them as a strike force and Icarus has his own version of the power-shell... Cyber on the other hand kind of stuck with me once the journey concluded. I always appreciate her help at the bakery, and her and Kelly seem to get along well enough. I'd personally just wish she kept her massive arsenal of weapons at home..." ~Thomza Materia

To understand this post in full? You'll have to read this one as well: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56573823/ as this is technically a sequel post or a follow-up to the species sheet, or at least elaborating a bit more on the Love-Bot empire. During the timeline of Skin to Scales? This takes place well after the Cyber-Arc, and is more or less Thomza's reflection on it- even if small... and kinda gives a synopsis of the Cyber Arc even if pretty brief... Also, we get to see Dragon Thomza doing a little blep for the signature this time around- so enjoy that lmfao
Until next time, thanks for reading.
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

Fun Fact: I've had a few people ask me if the design was based off of Tasque Manager, and the answer is... Kinda? I mean at least *slightly* for the color scheme that is. Weirdly enough a lot of my inspiration that comes from Cyber is more based off a moment in Rimworld where I watched a cleaning mechanoid somehow decimate several tribal soldiers, then proceeded to clean up their remains like nothing was wrong. I'm not entirely sure if that was because of a mod as I just drafted it and hope it would keep them in place, but it didn't- it just sort of did the job for me. The original Cyber design was also a gigantic cat with heavy armor, but I felt the design was a bit bland and I wanted to make it a lot "wilder" in a few aspects. The other idea or inspiration for the character was mostly just a funny idea to me. Just having this comedically dense and seemingly delicate character who can suddenly pull out a weapon three times her size out of nowhere.
Fun Fact 2: This was uploaded on my DA on maid day, when I didn't even know it was a holiday- that is... horribly ironic
