Derek Langley, aka Dieter or the Vault Dweller, is an anthropomorphic dog who lived somewhere in South Dakota before and after the bombs dropped during the Great War and was sent to Vault 107 as a last ditch effort along with his friends and colleagues, to which one of them had a family. They were all frozen in time. But during the events of Fallout 2, one of his friends, along with their family, went out of the vault to explore the outside world.

What they didn’t know is that a group known as the Enclave were taking out innocents at any area, mutants or not. It was unfortunate for them, but fortunate for Vault 107 to not get demolished by people in giant power suits.

As years passed, after the events of Fallout 4 & before the events of the Fallout television series, everyone, including Dieter, got out of their chambers. But something wasn’t quite right. Dieters friends and their family were missing, which was worrying. So Dieter and his friend went out on an adventure. Would they be able to survive the wasteland of the outside world?
