While the pirate cruiser Stellar Typhoon isn't an ancient ship, it's certainly no spring chicken either. Not a day seems to go by without something or other requiring repairs. Inevitably, that something turns out to be difficult to get at, as is the case here. Not only does Kyoko Mori have to wrestle with a fault in dark, dirty, cramped conditions, but she has to do so while balancing precariously atop a stepladder. Fortunately, she's been able to rope in Alasdair Geddes and Jocelyn Trueman - who were presumably the nearest crewmates to the fault - to hold the ladder steady for her.
