Destroyed alot of stuff but killed surprisingly few. In fact, I believe only one person was substantiated to have died. I was visiting some friends of my mom's with her in West Valley, bout 10 miles away. The funnel was visible from where I was, and I managed to get 3 shots of it with my old Polaroid. Unfortunately, I have none of those photos (Or any photos) today.
All in all, it was a literal breeze compared to the recent hell that struck. 1 death vs 200+, we got off easy. I feel kind bad for the people unfortunate enough to get caught in the way. (I wonder if there is a relief fund I can donate to...)

VA is actually quite the tornado country...they just tend to happen where no one lives...so they don't get recorded/air time on the news...
But yeah...in Richmond/Henrico not so common. There was a tornado that tore through VCU in the 50s if you ware interested in looking it up...Also, doing a tornado drill tomorrow at the campus with the Emergency Response team

Are you near Oilville? (Give us your oil!)
Its been an odd spring. Normally when we do get a tornado its a small one that might knock a few trees over and blow some siding off. Now all of a sudden we're getting town-destroyers. We didnt get any funnels around here but the wind was whipping around and managed to rip some siding off.
