I feel bad that no matter how much I put hours into refining my art be it line art or shading, I feel like compare to other is still look 'not finish' and still look 'rough'. It's 1st source of my stress (and in turn make me feel like my art suck or I'm not trying hard enough hence why it don't look finished) really. So... experiment with my colouring and line art style for an entire day and here are the results.
What is discover is "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE ONE THAT LOOK THE BEST IS ONE I DON'T DO LINEART NOR SOFTEN THE REFINE EDGE ON SHADING" 😭 why did the one I put so much time into it can't compare to the one that I said fuck it lemme just make my color-loving brain goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Well I mean now that I know the direction I want to go with but still... how tf do I do with lineart for client xD er I will think of something to applies from what I have learnt today.

Yeah I'm in similar situation when I buy something from other artist. Although no one except few of my friend buy my sketch so I just thought people like lined work more and I alway scream when I have to do lineart and not really figured it out how to make it look good but I did my best. And everyone just said it look ok so I take their word for it.
As for sketch line, My sketch line is as heavy as the 'normal' line but in the "color go brrrrr" I turn opacity down and draw using color on top of it to clean thing up instead of doing entirely new lineart.
As for smaller line make color pop up. I personally think it's has to do more with artist coloring skill more than if the line is thick or thin. But yeah generally I like sketch line more since I think it's very raw and I like it that way.
