It wasn't a tank, it was a land ship (land cruiser) the p1000 ratte, had 2 submarine engines 4-6 whirlwind anti aircraft guns 2 maus turrets...and a hipper/eugen main battery turret, it was super impractical not just because of its size and you could easily hit it, but the sheer monumental weight, logistics needed for it, it would make every bridge useless for it, it would have to get around under its own power which would in itself take up resources, make every urban city campaign useless because its too big for the streets, nothing to say about it destroying the roads too, and of course its massive weight will cause it to bog down alot, so it was just a ginormous resource sink, as is they kinda showed the depths of engineering madness by building "dora" the railway gun

Yes, and also of the previous Maus wasonly one test vehicle completed
and it did nothing more than get stuck on the test track and has stood as a useless curiosity in the museum ever since.

Kinda ironic since it was discovered by the Soviets, took one look at it, an went "nah" maus was a tank on a tank and had a really dodgy turret design especially the neck

Bigger just means it's easier to hit at range:P
