In a time that even Krustallos itself has forgotten; an ancient king ruled with such malice that all of Treyfa trembled at his feet. Many attempts were made to dethrone him by any means necessary: assassinations, mutiny, wars, etc. All attempts had failed as Garuganto always seemed to be a step ahead of ever plan hatched. It was as if his evil knew no bounds and appeared infinite.

His evil. however, was not without limitations as a small bard of battle mages were able to use their magic in order to subdue the tyrant king. His power was far too great for them as his destructions seemed and proved to be impossible. Instead, the mages were able to bind the man to his cursed throne and cast him into a deep stasis hidden deep within the Kyne Bluffs.

And so, there he remained for countless ages lost in the ether until he was discovered by a nameless demon. The demon knew who this accursed king was and his long, sordid history and doings. The demon sought to enslave the king and control his evil by means of a contract. As powerful as the demon might have been, delving into the slumbering king's mind proved to be his undoing. The king's will was so great that he was able to consume the demon's power down to his very core, absorbing him mind and soul into his being. This new power was enough that it was able to break the binds that held him. And so, as he stepped out into the world, Garuganto grinned evilly as he sought to reclaim his kingdom and more.
