Growing up south of the Whispering Plains, Bruno's life was most mundane without many worries. He was the son of the local blacksmith and the village cook and so, lived with little worry for want as much was provided for him. However, Bruno felt like there was more for him out in the world; feeling as though there was a calling for him. It was when the mercenary group, The Plainsriders, that everything changed.

Known as a rather well off and powerful mercenary group that provided protection for the area much less perform tasks and jobs that were deemed too shady or dangerous, the Plainsriders were mostly well received by the villagers. Bruno often thought about what it would be like to join them and travel beyond his known horizon. So, upon the day of his 16th birthday, Bruno would leave his home and join the group.

For 8 years, Bruno worked his way up their ranks until he became the leader's right-hand man. With his trusty tonfas, there were few that would dare challenge such a behemoth. And yet, Bruno's ambition still proved too great. So, when he turned 24, Bruno announced that he would depart from the Plainsriders in order to seek out his own fortune. In time, he would gather a rag-tag group of men and together, they would become one of the most elite of mercs: The Adamant Company.
