A poem for a special friend:  Wolfattwilight

The Wolf at Twilight

The night calls for her
A wanderer of the night
Both of light and shadow
Eyes looking above
At her symbol of affinity
The Moon, full and golden
It awakens her spirit
A spirit of balance
Like her fur, it’s dark and light
Yet among both reveals her scars
Scars of the past that afflict her
Yet the crescent on her head
Bridges the pain with a soothing aura
So that she may greet the moon
With a great howl
Of confidence and of grace
